About this deal

The English translation was published in the UK by Serpent's Tail in 2006 and in the US by Seven Stories Press in 2007. The main guy deals with his emotions by running along the beach lol instead of crying or being relatable in any way, just because he can't have a two-dimensional hot babe as his wife, because apparently his life is dangerous (others in his group of muscly dudebros seem to be fine having kids and wives). The romantic, well, sexual scenes can be left out as far as I am concerned, but the rest was more than satisfactory.

Antonio Huntsman is danger wrapped in a handsome package, with masculine ridges and angles along a powerful frame. And fuck you tiktok for wasting my goddamn time recommending the same books with the same old tropes over and over and OVER AGAIN. He has everything - a beautiful home, a beautiful wife and more money than he could spend in a lifetime. The place is California, where small walled communities must protect themselves from hordes of desperate scavengers and roaming bands of people addicted to a drug that activates an orgasmic desire to burn, rape, and murder. This really is a novel about the difference between men and women, in which men are painted as beasts ruled by their penises who are ruining the planet, and women are portrayed as pretty damned stupid for allowing it all to happen.

Ellmann wrote: "Jelinek gives us a startling glimpse here of what women are, as well as answering Freud's question, 'What do women want? The rush of trying to contain herself because this is only a deal, and fighting with her heart that she really does want him was just DAMN.The hero (Antonio) was super soft and forgiving and showed zero signs of ever turning into a toxic person, therefore, he failed to appeal to my senses. Some of the characters were completely unbelievable and I felt the author did the book a disservice by flashing big neon signs over the top his twists. Nobel prize-winning economist Herbert Thompson drives to an emergency summit in Berlin, to deliver his ground-breaking solution to the world's elite- a formula that will reverse the downturn, transform the economy, and give everyone a share of the wealth. One annoying point however was careless spelling mistakes- obviously not checked well enough at the printers.

Daniela’s biggest fears are from her family’s rivals, the Huntsmans and in particular Antonio Huntsman. He took a solemn blood oath, and he didn’t have the balls to look me in the eye and tell me any of this. he is nothing but a cruel and cunning man who probably wants nothing but to own her family's vineyards. There is a story buried away in there somewhere, in the same way as the murder victims are hidden in the woods around the country policeman's village. The book will be useful to legal and tax professionals, including litigators; investigators; consultants and leaders; enforcement agencies; judges; government officials; policy-makers; academicians; and students. This trilogy has that plot-point, sort of, but not really LOL I almost skipped out on reading this because of it, but I am so ridiculously glad that I did not.

I must say, I’m almost impressed with how this book managed to hit every romance novel ick in less than 50 pages. There is a lot of suspense and plot twists which were hidden very well, and everytime I thought I knew what they were going to lead to I kept questioning myself. There were some strong relationships, forged in a variety of contexts, that are important to the story and an encouragement. Wine Princesa Daniela D’Sousa is hiding a big secret and after her father’s death runs off to the US with her maid Isabel and Isabel’s husband Jorge and daughter, Valentina to keep them and herself safe. Gublak's Greed’ is the second of a five-book fantasy/adventure series, The Oswain Tales, which features a wonderful array of colourful characters, varied settings and twisting plots. While much of her work is rooted in the Austrian literary tradition, she has also been known to take a feminist stand on the dealings of the Communist Party of Austria. GREED - Powering Some of the Most Creative Frauds in Human History unravels some of the most innovative financial frauds that have been conceived and executed in human history through the lens of the key driver behind it.
