Care must be taken in fitting to ensure that the hoses do not contact any moving part under conditions of extreme suspension travel and/or full steering lock. The sustem has a metal Bundy pipe along the back of the engine from the master cylinder and impossible to access with engine in the car. I left the original clutch hose in place while I routed the new one to ensure that I fitted it correctly and still managed to get it on the wrong side of the A/C pipe.

The connection is press in bayonet fitting very similar to a JG Guest or Hep2o domestic water pipe fitting. The 7/16 UNF 20 it exactly what I was expecting as its the typical Triumph/Land Rover Girling fair I'm use to, and they're nearly always 7/16 UNF 20. Stainless steel tube, Kunifer pipe, stainless steel braided TFE brake and clutch hose (with and without black PVC cover), fuel hose with neoprene cover or stainless braided outer, Acetylene and master cylinder gravity feed tube.Neoprene fuel hose - single textile braid reinforcement and smooth black neoprene cover complies with British standard BS Au108/2-L4/C4/R for fuel hose.

Mainly used for brake and clutch lines where, due to its small size,the weight penalty is not too significant.I did find it was hard then just snapped together, only to find I had routed the pipe over rather than under near the bulkhead but was able to wiggle the whole thing to the point of being correct. But Fiat have used an aluminium case with stainless steel spring fingers inside to retain the fitting.
