About this deal

You can hear a bit of background noise if you are on the other end but for the most part they've worked great.

I’m a big fan of vocals so, when they stand out as clearly as they do in tracks like this, I definitely feel like these would be the earbuds that I pick up to go on a trip with and that’s coming from someone that owns the AirPods Pro which are better than most will give credit to. As far as the sound from the earphones themselves, they stayed steady, but the real issue is their ability to stay in the ear while water pours off your head and face, I had to repeatedly push the ear pods back into my ears because the water would get behind them, which in turn would affect the sound.Who doesn't want to be engrossed in their favourite tracks, encapsulated in escapism and entirely in the melodic moment with not a single distraction? No issues with watching YouTube, but if you're some kind of audiophile / music quality connoisseur, you may be more harsh with your critiques than myself. I then switched to Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits,” which gives a really good impression of the soundstage, and a really nice depth from the bottom end through the vocals and then up high.

It is an all-around excellent product, worthy to be put right beside other major brands you may be considering. Very bass heavy, but possible to tweak with both the app and third party EQ to make them sound better. So, while overall it definitely feels a little processed and like there’s a little bit of compression around the edges, the overall experience is really quite enjoyable. I’ve already touched on the majority: ANC/Transparency mode, control customization, Equalizer, Game Mode, and Reduce Loud Sound. When the music stopped I could once again just about hear vocal tones, which is to be expected given the -30dB cut around the 80Hz 2KHz region.

Clear, not boomy base, sparkling defined highs and a midrange that is well defined without overpowering the other frequencies.I think these on a plane or anything similar would be definitely worth a try on my next trip somewhere. Normally, they stay in the space of musical instruments but the Dobuds ONE have come out the gate swinging at the competition. These have superior sound quality, touch controls, noise cancelling, transparency and the other buds didn't have a normal mode. However I'm coming from the nothing ear 1s I lost and needed something to get me by and I can tell you these aren't nearly as crisp and clear as those.

It’s not just a bunch of bass or mid-range sounds – though, I was impressed with the bass on these earbuds. You won’t want to submerge the buds in water but they’ll easily keep functioning if rain starts pouring. The DoBuds One features a 12mm dynamic driver and custom balanced armature that produces rich, insightful sound to enjoy music fully. Luckily you can adjust this using a third-party equalizer app, but it's a bit annoying to have to do that extra step. In the default “Donner Signature” EQ preset mode, the Dobuds One have an aggressive sub-bass boost that’s counter-balanced by a similarly aggressive mid-treble boost.
