This show had another angle besides watching and listening to my favourite band. As a big football fan I looked forward to being at San Siro stadium, even though it wasn't for a match. Those towers look really special looking both from outside and from the pitch.

After the success of B&L, we can't be surprised if they record a volume 2 of blues covers, they can do anything they want, a new album with new songs maybe is not what 90% of the buying public wants from the Stones.Seeing that they did B&L in 3 days in December of 2015 and whatever it is, 2 days in April of 2016, they've had plenty of time to be distracted from working on a new LP of originals. Keith had two great songs in "Slipping Away" and "Connection". They are now half way in the tour time wise, even if we have lost two shows so far, but they seem to be fine tuned and comfortable on stage, lots of smiles, hugs and joy in the band. With beer in hand, I noticed that the lawn section went all the way around the rafters. Lo and behold I found a great spot to the left of the stage; unlike my previous spot, I had a great view of the musicians and didn't have to rely on the screens! Keith Richards’ set was lovely. It could even be argued that “Slipping Away” was the highlight of the concert, as it was masterfully interpreted by Richards, with a truly awesome guitar solo in the end.
