About this deal

So first things first: I know this is titled as a webcomic, but I think this might not be the right description for “Fangs”. This was no story with a central theme but rather little snippets of Elsie’s and Jimmy’s story that starts when they meet in a bar. Because of this the pacing is pretty fast and it seems like they jump right into their relationship and push the “fast forward” button instead of taking it slow. So I think “sequential art” might be the most accurate description here and I noticed that a lot of reviewers already put it in that genre which is great! =) En was adorable! So full of life and emotion, despite struggling a bit with not being human anymore. I can see why all the older vampires would like him. You can't help but be charmed by him, and he's not even trying. iii) Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled and information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to locate the material;

I may be biased considering I love both vampires and boys-love stories, and I'll admit the idea of a supernatural welfare organization is hardly a new concept in manga, but "Fangs" was a delight to read. I found the main couple to be particularly sweet and Iespecially enjoyed the wide range of different vampiresthe readers meet. This was also a somewhat interesting take on vampire society, what with the Fangs organization, blood delivery, pairing with other vampires being encouraged, support groups, etc. We got to really meet six different vampires in this volume, and each was unique and different. I really got a sense of personality for every character. They all felt believable and somehow even felt older, like their actual ages, despite looking young.

Fangusu,ファングス

Other characters we meet through Ichii's blood delivery job include a gay vampire couple consisting of an overprotective plastic surgeon and his flirtatious spouse,a loving vampire/human couple whose love has stood the test of time with both the human wife and the couple's child reaching old age still cherished preciously by the devoted vampire husband/father, and a grieving vampire widower with a giant pet tortoise who hasn't been able to move on from the loss of his husbandwhotragically fell asleep outside watching the stars one night and vanished with the rising sun. The characters all feel like unique entities rather than a generic cookie-cutter vampire cast. They own businesses, keep exotic pets, go skateboarding, get married, and do all the other things ordinary people do depending on their tastes, just with the occasional biological restrictions placed on them due to their vampirism. They feel very "human" in some ways and their diverse tastes and personalities make them fun to get to know. In addition to wanting to see more of the main couple, I want more of these guys, too. I loved how much this explored different aspects of vampirism and the different ways it can affect people. Cheating. Loneliness. Depression. Lovers and children growing old. That sort of thing.

I felt like En wasn’t that well fleshed out as a character. His only trait seemed to be youth - but I’m trying to think if there’s any protagonist in a vampire story that’s interesting and no, there really isn’t. I liked that he tried to help Sugi, the suicidal vampire.

Elsie’s a vampire and Jimmy’s a werewolf and they’re girlfriend and boyfriend and hilarity ensues and waffle waffle… This said, I found this on tapas and was immediately intrigued. I mean a relationship between a vampire and a werewolf? It sounded interesting and I decided to investigate. En and Ichii's relationship also could have been developed more. The latter chooses to be the former's guardian right off the bat, but the romantic framing isn't strong enough to want to root for them. I also didn't like Ichii taking advantage of En at several moments throughout this volume. Balibally's established dynamic is currently the driving force of these two being together, rather than their growing feelings for each other. They can grow as a couple. However, their first time threw me off because it's related to what I discussed earlier and in a status update. I loved this graphic novel with its beautiful art, sexy vampires, unique characters, touching and interesting relationships, exploration of vampirism, and sweet blossoming romance!

Our somewhat innocent protagonist, En, is new to the vampire gig. As a human, he was a homeless teenager in the process of figuring himself and his life out, and now as a vampire he must do the same on top of adjusting to the loss of his humanity and trying to navigate the vampire world. Clueless of the rules, the culture, and of what all being a vampire entails, right now En is entirely dependant on the deuteragonist, Ichii, to show him the way. And the two have some interesting chemistry both romantically and as a world-weary mentor who contrasts En's inexperience. The older vampire is competent and responsible when it comes to his work (including his task of being En's guardian) but Ichii has been around a long time and is not shy about what he wants - and what he wants is En. His teenage charge is a breath of fresh air in his long, dreary life and makes him want to laugh and tease and FEEL things. And he does just that. Heshamelessly tells the younger vampire: "I've decided to kiss you once every conversation. And grab your ass." His lighthearted moments with En are great; watching this couple is no doubt going to be a continued source of amusement as the series progresses.

NO THOUGHTS HEAD EMPTY JUST HOT GAY VAMPIRES DOING HOT GAY VAMPIRE THINGS //aggressively smashes that 5-star rating because I am nothing but a being who exists merely to follow and please my libido's commands and it says 5 stars of excellence so 5 stars of excellence it is 😠💥 i) A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed; There are so many things I loved that it's all just ping-ponging around my head with no hope of real organization, so here's a list! Fangs is a short graphic novel following the relationship/romance between a vampire and a werewolf. It is meant to be humorous and fairly light hearted. The relationship has elements of tropes that bother me in some BL’s. At times, Iichi feels a bit too pushy. The sex scenes felt like he was moving faster than En wanted him to and there’s talk about him using his “charm” to make it “better” for En, which wasn’t great. En later calls him out on it but I don’t necessarily feel as though that was quite remedied. Add to that, you have the knowledge that Iichi is so much older than En and attracted to him bc he’s emotional and youthful.Werewolves are like dogs - look, Jimmy hates the postman ‘cos he’s a werewolf and that’s like a dog and arhharhgh… He chases squirrels, she takes a selfie but she’s a vampire so she’s invisible. Sunlight, silver, blood… all the expected bullshit is here.
