About this deal

Book a table for a special Flaming Cow celebration and we’ll give mum a complimentary glass of prosecco on us! And with boothes located in a more private seating area at the backend of the restaurant, Flaming Cow is a spacious joint that has a lot going for it.

Starting with this tantalisingly tasty stack –6oz beef patty, Monterey Jack, sliced roast beef, gravy, rocket and rosemary fries! They were also some of the best players in the country, took great pride in their work and were very nice with it all. In spite of the lack of salt, which barely came through, the Salted Caramel managed not to be overly sweet, and was, in the end, quite satisfying. One of our newer clients, Flaming Cow, is a Shield Safety success story when it comes to their Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) score – going from a 1 to a 5! This Vintage 40 day, dry aged, 8oz burger was, simply put, on anudder level (okay, we’ll quit with the cow puns now)!

Good crunchy sweet potato fries that came with chipotle sauce that had a really surprising, though pleasant, kick of heat to it with a hint of sweetness in the background. You can book a table online or explore our Windsor and Eton takeaway service to dine in at home or collect. An outdated Food Safety Management System was also noticed by the visiting EHO which left one Flaming Cow branch with a FHRS ‘score on the door’ of 1. Compared to my little steaming padded cell of a studio, this was a cathedral complete with a stairway to God, the control room, presided over by the now-famous sound engineer Peter Bown. He was even more awesome because he was a tall and most accomplished West Indian modern jazz bassist living on the top floor while I was a differently accomplished banjo player in a damp basement.

As such, while the peanut butter managed to add that little extra oomph, it was the sour sauce and pickles that managed the all-important task of countering its dry, sweet and sticky nature. Our founder and Head Chef fused their culinary craft to create a signature range of super satisfying and unique burgers. If we could suggest improvements, however, they’d be: 1) a warm bun, 2) a thicker, more meaty sausage, 3) a mixture of both soft and caramelised, as well as fried onions to give some textural contrast. With exciting promotions throughout the week and a menu full of family favourites, it’s about time you head over to one of Eton and Windsor’s top favourite burger restaurants this Easter holiday. The first is that I had always seen the brass function in this work to be more pushy and punchy - more like a black jazz feel, Duke Ellington’s, for instance. Look out for the specials we are putting on – the fish tacos have gone down amazingly well… the feedback has been that they are the best ever!

And with plenty of finger-licking marination found floating at the bottom of the tray, we generously coated the wings in this, before giving them a quick dip in that fairly pungent yet complementary blue cheese dip, and devouring them in one go. A surprise twist meant that the EHO visited again midway through this service – but with the rest of the Shield Safety package already in place the visit went smoothly,” explains Tarek. My daughter could choose a large selection of the normal menu and just swap the bun (Why don’t more restaurants do that? Whilst we’ve been busy creating Flaming Cow, our chef and owner have been racing around exploring the wonderful world of drinks – we have been looking for drinks that not only taste great but have that pop culture look and feel that go well with our own brand style. The memory of how the initial contact occurred has melted into the mists, but it may well have been through its lead bassoonist, Gwydion Brooke, a proper individual. As it was, the ‘Great British Compromise’ was being pursued - and I looked forward to my really sensitive and interested friend, Haflidi Hallgrimsson, coming in to play passionate cello, although there is no note on Abbey Road's recording sheets of his significant contribution. We are proud to be a gluten free friendly establishment and are delightedthat our new menu is being so well received! The Jubilee Burger is as royal as it gets and is unlike any other burger – made of Venison patty on a bed of rocket salad, pickled red onion, cranberry ketchup, and Monterey Jack. The lower ones were provided by the most gentle but truly awesome Coleridge Goode, a direct neighbour in Elgin Crescent.
