As this product has only been tested in dogs we would be unable to advise if it would be suitable for ferrets or cats. How often you need to clean greatly depends on how often your dog gets ear infections and what the underlying cause is. Surosolve is a nonirritating ear cleaner specially formulated for dogs and cats that effectively neutralizes and removes ear smell.

Surosolve is a great ear cleaner that will help remove wax and any surface organisms on the skin down the ear, such as fungi and bacteria. It is recommended you follow your vet's advice on treating this however as overcleaning an ear can actually predipose to yeast infections.
